Waste Management Names Alberta Resident $10,000 Winner of The Bagster® Summer Home Improvement Project Sweepstakes

As a thank you to the thousands of people who used Bagster bags to take on summer home improvement project debris, Waste Management ran a sweepstakes that offered Do-It-Yourselfers a chance to win $10,000 towards the home improvement project of the winner’s choice.

Waste Management, producer of the Bagster® Dumpster in a Bag®, a highly durable woven bag that can hold up to 3,300 pounds of renovation waste and debris, is pleased to announce their summer sweepstakes winners have been selected, including Grand Prize winner and Calgary, Alberta resident, Theda Prahl who will receive $10,000 towards her home improvement projects.

“I can’t wait to take on new home improvement projects now,” said Grand Prize winner, Prahl. “I’m going to refresh my home inside and out with new landscaping, fresh paint and new doors!”

The Bagster Summer Home Improvement Project Sweepstakes ran from June 20 to August 14 and received more than 162,000 entries. Theda was randomly selected as the Grand Prize Winner.

Ten First Prize Winners were also selected, and each will receive a free Bagster bag and collection service, or if they reside outside of the Waste Management collection service area, a substitution prize of a $160 gift card. They are:
