WM supports community after massive flood

$10,000 donation helps during recovery

Estes Park, Colo. – Following disastrous flooding in Northern Colorado last month, WM sites across
the Four Corners Area pitched in to help the multitude of communities affected by what is now deemed a
“500 year flood.”

In addition to an increase in trailers, roll offs and portable toilets, Four Corners operations also deployed
employees to assist in the response. The cleanup and rebuilding process has only just begun, but residents
are staying “Mountain Strong” and trying their best to make light of some difficult situations.

The Four Corners Area also made a $10,000 donation to the Colorado chapter of the American Red Cross to
aid flood victims. To show their appreciation, the Red Cross offered to take some WM staff on a tour of their
operations, which included a command center, packing warehouse and disaster distribution area.
