Marketing announces 2014 promotions

From Valentine’s Day to Christmas

Houston – Throughout 2014, Waste Management will offer multiple promotions to attract
new and existing customers. Advertised through various channels — including online at – these campaigns have garnered favorable results in the past.

In 2013, the company’s second annual Arbor Day campaign, where WM donated $1 for
every new residential or small-to-medium business customer, netted 4,300 new business
customers, 4,100 new residential customers and funded more than 8,400 trees. Here’s
what the company has in store for 2014. During every season of the year, customers looking to rent a dumpster
will be able to get a $25 Virtual Reward Card using a promo code that’s available
through advertising. In addition, each campaign will have a different look to match the
time of year, like fireworks for the New Year (see photo).
