Mobile sales tool to communicate WM’s value
Outside sales employees have access to innovative product
HOUSTON – On Jan. 31, Sales Learning and Development announced the first mobile learning
application based on The Connector, a training tool that employees can use to help grow sales.
The new application, now available to outside sales representatives, is a useful and convenient
aid for communicating the company’s value proposition to current and potential customers.
Some of the features include:
- Detailed outlines on how to connect with customers
- Action items to formulate the appropriate value propositions for each customer
- Situational timelines for when sales reps should contact prospects and customers
“As we discover other new mobile learning opportunities, we will have the ability to send them
directly to your mobile device through this new application,” said David Voorhees, director of
sales learning and development. “This is an exciting tool that will take learning to a new
level – a mobile level.”
With The Connector, a sales employee can use a mobile phone or tablet to communicate to a
customer why they should do business with Waste Management, all in a matter of seconds.
