Account management app launches
Competitive advantage for customers
HOUSTON – Waste Management has officially released its first mobile account management app for
both iPhone and Android users. Called “WM Mobile,” customers can use this app to access the company’s
popular account management features currently available on WM.com. This includes:
- Paying a bill
- Enrolling in paperless billing and automatic payments
- Contacting customer service right from a mobile phone
The app is free and available for download on both the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
“Our customers demand the ability to manage and service their accounts 24/7,” said Dave Logsdon, vice president
of IT for Waste Management. “The mobile application is a huge step forward in our ability to offer our customers
multiple channels of interaction in the most convenient ways possible.”
The WM mobile app is poised to improve the company’s ability to service its customers by offering them a convenient
way to manage their accounts. This will further secure WM’s position as the industry leader of waste service providers
by laying the foundation for a competitive service advantage.
