Electronic Waste

Electronic Waste (E-waste) is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their useful life. Televisions, computers, monitors, keyboards, printers, VCR’s, fax machines, electronic games and cell phones are common electronic products. Many of these products can be reused, refurbished or recycled. Cathode ray tubes (CRT’s) cannot be disposed of in your trash or recycling carts.

The Antelope Valley Environmental Collection Center (AVECC) is open for residents to dispose of Household Hazardous Waste (e.g., paint, oil and batteries), as well as old electronics (e.g., TVs, monitors, computers and printers). The center is open to the public on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month, from 9 am until
3 pm, and is located at 1200 W. City Ranch Road in Palmdale.

The Antelope Valley Recycling & Disposal Facility and the Lancaster Landfill & Recycling Center will accept drop-offs of e-waste and CRTs at no charge.
