Waste Management of Alameda County, Inc. (WMAC) is the exclusive provider of residential and commercial recycling, organics and trash collection services in the Oro Loma Sanitary District.

Q. What are the hours of collection for residential and commercial customers?
A. Residential collections are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Multi-family property collections are Monday through Saturday 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Commercial collections are Monday through Saturday 4:00 am to 7:00 pm, except where a business is within two hundred feet of residential property; collection shall begin no earlier than 6:00 am or cease no later than 6:00 pm.

Q. What if I have physical difficulty taking my carts out to the curb?
A. Residential carts can be collected from backyards for an additional fee, or no fee for qualifying disabled individuals. Call WMAC at (510) 613-8710 for details.

Q. How do I recycle used motor oil? Filters?
A.
Free curbside collection of used motor oil and car filters is available to single-family residents. Place used motor oil in one-gallon screw-top jug available through WMAC (510-613-8710) along with oil filter in customer-provided sealed plastic bag curbside next to carts on collection day.
