Waste Management of the Inland Empire provides a critical service to residents at an affordable rate while also strengthening the local economy, protecting the environment and enhancing local traffic flow.

Waste Management of the Inland Empire contributes nearly $4 million a year to the County’s general fund through its import fee charged to all out of county waste brought to the landfill. These funds are used to help pay for public safety services, parks, road repair and habitat conservation.

Waste Management of the Inland Empire has provided almost $3 million for improvements to local roads and freeways in the Temescal Valley. These improvements include:

  • Added traffic signals and widened Dawson Canyon Road
  • Added traffic signals, widened and placed signage and lights at the I-15 interchange at Temescal Canyon Road
  • Widened Temescal Canyon Road all the way to Dawson Canyon Road
  • Installed a box culvert at Dawson Canyon Road
  • Constructed a bridge on Temescal Canyon Road
