Curbside Garbage

Waste Management provides a variety of garbage services within the city and throughout rural Unincorporated Multnomah County.

You provide your own 32-gallon garbage can.

Place your materials within three feet of the curb/roadway by 6:00 a.m. on your pickup day.

Garbage cans should be watertight and have handles on both sides. Lids should fit tightly yet be easily removed during collection.

For the safety of our drivers, do not overfill garbage cans or compact contents too tightly. Please limit containers to 60 pounds.

Securely bag loose and dusty materials such as ashes, kitty litter, sawdust, animal waste, and packing "peanuts" before placing in the garbage can.

Extra Garbage

There is an an additional charge for each extra bag or container (32-gallon, 60 lb. limit) that does not fit in your garbage container with the lid closed. If you often have extra garbage, you may want to increase your garbage container size to avoid overflow and extra garbage charges.
