Bridgestone Tire Plant Achieves Global First For Resource Conservation in Manufacturing
Bridgestone America's 60-acre Wilson, NC's tire manufacturing plant produces 33,800 tires per day. Leadership at the Wilson plant partnered with Waste Management to implement diversion strategies. Together, they identified all of the remnant waste materials from manufacturing processes such as whole scrap tires, rubber components and packaging, as well as support areas such as offices and cafeterias.
