Western Pennsylvania
Memorial Day schedule for trash and recycling services
Trash and recycling services will be delayed by one day beginning Monday, May 25 and throughout the remainder of the week in observance of Memorial Day holiday. All local Waste Management operations will be closed on Monday, May 25, with normal operations resuming on Tuesday, May 26.
Customers who receive service on Monday are being asked to place their trash and recycling out for service on Tuesday. Customers should place their containers out for pick-up one day later than usual for the remainder of the week through Saturday. Customers not impacted by the holiday will be notified accordingly.
As a reminder, due to COVID-19, please make sure all your trash/refuse is bagged and sealed, and wherever possible, placed in containers. Loose items will not be collected.
Should Waste Management experience any unexpected weather delays or cancellations that will inhibit operations, customers will be notified accordingly.

Beginning Monday, 5/4/2020, the following curbside services will resume. Collection will follow regular schedules and guidelines:
- Bulk collection (e.g., furniture, carpet, mattresses, appliances)
- Yard waste collection (e.g., grass clipping, brush, or tree limbs)

Unless your service is listed in service suspension or delays listed above, please follow our standard service guidelines, ensure your containers are available on your regular collection day and continue to recycle right.
