Class of 2014 WM Scholarship winners
12 children of employees receive tuition assistance

HOUSTON  The Waste Management Scholarship program is designed to help children of WM employees cover the costs of pursuing a bachelor, associate, vocational or graduate degree. This year, after numerous applications were submitted, 12 young students were awarded a scholarship from WM:
·    Ten received a general scholarship, worth $2,500 per academic year (maximum four years)
·    One was awarded the Stephanie Valdez Memorial Scholarship, worth $2,500 per academic year (maximum four years)
·    One received the Robert Simpson Honorary Scholarship, worth $5,000 per academic year (maximum three years)
