Bentonville, Ark. – Last March, Walmart, the world’s largest retailer, began offering WM-branded trash bags at 1,000 of its locations across the U.S. Now, after several months on the shelves, this product (available in 13 and 30 gallon sizes) will be available to purchase online, through Walmart.com.

Available for under $8, not including shipping costs, the bags are made from 65 percent recycled plastic. In addition, the company will receive some royalties — through a licensing agreement — for lending its name and endorsing the product.

The company also has a WM-branded recycling bag available through Walmart; however, it is still only available for purchase on location at 1,000 Walmart stores across several markets. These bags allow residential customers to store recyclable items before transporting them to the curb or to a recycling facility.
