Each household is provided with one 64 gallon gray recycle cart for proper disposal of recyclable materials. We ask that you participate each week by placing your glass, aluminum, and plastics in the container provided and place it at the curb on your regularly scheduled service day.
If you have more recyclables or greenwaste than will fit into your existing carts, you can call (800) 266-7551 to request additional recycling and greenwaste carts at no additional cost.
A good rule of thumb for recycling: “if it’s ooey, gooey or chewy put it in the black trash cart. If it’s not, put it in the gray recycle cart.” Almost everything except trash, liquids, green waste and hazardous waste can go in your gray recycle cart. For more specific information on what is recyclable visit main recycling page.
Recycle your yard trimmings and other greenwaste to keep it out of our landfills. Please contribute to the recycling circle by placing loose yard waste materials in your green or burgundy 64-gallon greenwaste container alongside your trash and recycling carts on your regularly scheduled service day.
How to Properly Prepare Your Greenwaste for Recycling:
- Put loose grass clippings, leaves, weeds, pruning/branches up to 4 feet in length and less than 2 inches in diameter in your 64-gallon greenwaste cart
- Cut up long branches into lengths of 4 feet or less. All materials must fit inside your 64-gallon greenwaste cart
- Place your 64-gallon greenwaste cart at your curbside the night before your service day.
Your greenwaste cart will be serviced every week
