Waste Management provides wheeled carts for collection of your trash, recyclables, and green waste.
Cart Service Reminders:
- Place all waste in the appropriate container and keep the lids closed to prevent litter.
- Trash, recyclables and greenwaste outside of the carts will not be collected.
- Place your carts at the curb by 6:00 am on your collection day.
- Roll carts into the street and place them against the curb, handles facing your home.
- Place carts at least two feet apart from other carts and objects.

Residential services are billed by Waste Management quarterly in advance. For your convenience you may pay your invoice online at www.wm.com or you can pay over the phone for a nominal fee. Unpaid and delinquent charges for waste collection services will be placed on resident’s property taxes annually, including penalties and interest.
BULKY GOODS & EXTRA GREENWASTE COLLECTION
Residents with curbside cart service may request two times in a calendar year, the free pick up of household bulky items. Additional bulky item collections are available at a nominal cost. To schedule a bulky item pick up, please contact Waste Management at (800) 423-9986 at least 24 hours in advance of your regular collection day.
CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING
We will collect and recycle Christmas trees for the first two weeks following Christmas on your regular collection day. Trees longer than six feet must be cut in half. Please remove all decorations, including tinsel, lights, ornaments, and tree stands. Flocked trees will be collected but cannot be recycled.
DISPOSAL OF USED MOTOR OIL
To schedule a free pickup of residentially generated used motor oil, please contact Waste Management at (800) 423-9986 at least 24 hours in advance of you regular collection day. Maximum is 2 gallons per week.
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (At Your Door Special Waste Collection)
At Your Door Special Waste Collection offers the most convenient way to dispose of your hard-to-recycle household material. Qualified residents may receive one (1) pick up per year of their household generated special materials including automotive products, garden chemicals, household cleaners, electronics, fluorescent bulbs and paint products. Residents 60 years of age or older, who are considered the head of the household qualify for a 7%percent discount.
Back yard service is available to city approved residential customers to bring carts to the collection location.
USED BATTERY RECYCLING
Residents can deposit household batteries into the battery recycling kiosks at Jurupa Valley City Hall.
TEMPORARY BIN AND ROLL-OFF SERVICE
Large bins are available for rent to help dispose of waste from a home remodeling, major landscaping, roofing or other big household projects. For rate and other information, please call the Waste Management Service Center at (800) 423-9986.
