We live in a world in which nothing can go to waste anymore. Nowhere is this more evident than in our ability to transform the yard waste collected from every home.
Green waste will be picked up from April 1st through November 30th.
Green waste is a pay-as-you-go system. In order to be picked up, your yard waste must have a prepaid yard waste sticker affixed to it. Yard waste stickers are available at Village Hall, 4900 Village Commons or Dominick’s Food Store, 4200 W 211th St. in Matteson.
Yard waste containers can be no larger than 35 gallons or residents can use bags.
