In January 2022, businesses in Hillsborough County may commence service with WM as their preferred provider for waste and recycling services.
All existing commercial garbage collection service contracts, regardless of the expiration date, will become null and void when the current solid waste franchise collection agreements expire on January 30, 2022. Every business in Hillsborough county will have the opportunity to choose from three predetermined franchise collectors, including North America’s leading waste services company, WM.

Garbage collection service will begin on January 31, 2022.
At minimum, business waste is picked up once a week with additional days available, if required. We make it easy to up-size your container or arrange for additional pickups based on the seasonality and peaks of your business.
