You recently received a letter notifying you per the Township’s Article 5.2-D.2 of the Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance, about an application for development at the Grand Central Sanitary Landfill. This notification is required to be sent to neighboring residents who own property within 200 feet of the property line for the proposed project. While the letter may imply the relocation of our recycling building is going to occur within 200 feet of your property – that is not the case.
We are required to send a notification letter to every property owner within 200 feet of the property boundary, and the proposed facility is being built within a 188-acre parcel between Wind Gap and Pen Argyl Boroughs. Please refer to the maps of the parcel and proposed building location below.
