WM is investing in renewable energy infrastructure.
WM operates North America’s largest alternative fuel fleet in the industry, which is why we continue to strengthen our fleet infrastructure. By the end of 2025, WM had allocated renewable natural gas sourced from WM-owned projects and third-party suppliers to more than 90% of our CNG collection fleet fuel consumption, reinforcing a circular model in which the waste we collect helps supply the lower emission fuel that is used in our daily operations.
