If a holiday falls on a weekday, collections for the rest of the week will be pushed back a day. For a Thursday holiday, service would be on Friday, and Friday service would be Saturday.

WM provides 2, 3, 4, or 6 yard bins.
Cart service provided once a week. Bins are serviced up to 6 times per week upon agreement.
All containers should be placed in locations that allow easy access and convenient use by customers and are safely accessible to the hauler. Containers should be placed on a paved or hard and level surface whenever possible.

Materials must fit inside a container with the lid shut for regular service.
Beginning January 1, 2022, SB 1383 requires Californians to sort and separately collect food scraps, yard debris and food-soiled paper from trash and recycling. This means food scraps are no longer acceptable in your trash container.
For more information on SB 1383, visit https://www.wm.com/us/en/sb1383 Acceptable items include standard household trash like chip bags, plastic bags, & textiles (donate if lightly used). Non-acceptable items include construction waste, auto parts, tires, household hazardous waste (paint, oil, household cleaners), medical or electronic waste and food scraps.
Did you know you can get updates on your service ETA with My WM? If containers were accessible by the specified time and were not emptied, you can report a missed pickup online. Sign up or log in to your My WM account. On the main dashboard locate the services card. Click details on current service to submt your missed pickup request.
Missed pickups cannot be reported if your container was blocked at the time of service, and can only be reported within 5 days of service.
