If a holiday falls on a weekday, collections for the rest of the week will be pushed back a day. For a Thursday holiday, service would be on Friday, and Friday service would be Saturday. For holidays on Saturday or Sunday, there are no delays.

Important Service Changes
WM will begin using automated trucks for trash and recycling collection beginning on December 4, 2023. These trucks use automatic lifting arms to empty carts, making collection efficient and safer for your community and our drivers. New 96 gallon automated carts are being delivered starting October 1, 2023.
Will My Service Change?
With automated collection, all materials must fit inside the WM trash or recycling cart with the lid firmly closed - no extra bags, materials outside the cart, or resident-owned containers will be collected.
