How can I control my Communication Preferences?
Setting your Communication Preferences gives you the power to choose what communications you want to receive and through what channel so that you remain informed on the topics that matter the most to you.
With multiple entry points, accessing your Communication Preferences is easier than ever! You can:
- Log in to your My WM account and click Communication Preferences under Manage Accounts
- Access your Communication Preferences through the My WM mobile app
- Visit the homepage (after logging in) on wm.com and select Communication Preferences from the self-service menu, or
- Ask our friendly Virtual Assistant to help you navigate to the dashboard
- Log in to your My WM account
- Under Manage Accounts, click Communication Preferences
- If you have multiple accounts, select the account you would like to change.
- Set your email and text preferences. If necessary, use the add a mobile number link to add a mobile number to your profile.
- Select Save Changes.
Managing the type of communications you receive has never been more convenient. You can customize six categories of communications to make sure you’re getting the right level of information about your account.
Service Communications
- Service & Order Updates: Communications about container delivery status, upcoming pickups, successful service confirmations and one-off requests.
- Smart Truck℠ Insights: Communications about overages and contamination and any related charges.
- Service Exceptions: Notifications when we’re not able to complete service.
- Service Reschedules: Communications when service will be delayed or rescheduled due to holidays, weather or reroutes.
Billing
- Payment Reminders: Reminders sent before payment is due if you’re not enrolled in AutoPay/Paperless Billing. Here's how you can enroll in AutoPay and Paperless Billing to avoid missing a payment and save a few trees along the way.
Insider Info
- WM News & Offers: Information about getting started, recycling, promotions and events.
