How do I enroll in AutoPay?
Summary
Learn about AutoPay and find step-by-step instructions on how to enroll.
Prevent missed payments and simplify billing by enrolling in Automatic Payments through your My WM account. Enroll in both AutoPay and Paperless Billing to be eligible for a waiver of the Administrative Charge on each invoice.
Enroll in AutoPay (US customers)
- Log in to My WM
- In the "AutoPay" section under "My Accounts" click Enroll
- Choose and existing payment method or add a new one and click Continue
- Fill out the payment method fields, read the Terms & Conditions and click Finish
If you have multiple accounts linked to your profile, you will need to enroll in each account separately. AutoPay may not be available if you pay for service through a homeowner's association, city or other third party.
Enroll in AutoPay (Canada customers)
AutoPay refers to automatic recurring payments using your credit card or direct recurring withdrawals from your chequing account through a Pre-Authorized Debit Agreement (a PAD Agreement). If you are a customer with a Canadian service address, you can choose to set up automatic payments through AutoPay. Payments by AutoPay are drafted on the 21st of each calendar month.
If you would like to direct recurring withdrawals, check out our tutorial video or follow the steps below:
- Log in to My WM
- From the My WM dashboard, click Billing Overview
- Click Enroll in the "AutoPay" column
- Select a payment method or add a new one and click Continue
- If you're using a chequing account, complete the PAD Agreement and click Continue
- Read the Terms and Conditions and click Finish
When will my automatic payment charge occur?
For customers with a United States service address, payments are drafted 20 days after the invoice date. For Canadian customers, payments are drafted on the 21st of each month. This payment draft date may differ from the payment due date identified in the payment terms of your service agreement.
Unenroll in AutoPay
- Log in to My WM.
- From the "Billing Overview" page, navigate to the AutoPay column and select Stop Automatic Payments.
- Click Yes to confirm.
