How do I put my service on a seasonal or vacation hold?
Summary
Learn how to pause your WM trash or recycling service during the holidays or for vacation.
Seasonal/vacation hold is not available for all customers and availability varies by area. During a service pause, your container will remain on-site.
Log into your account (single account linked)
- Log in to My WM.
- In the My WM dashboard, navigate to "Do More Online".
- Select Seasonal Hold and complete the steps outlined for a vacation hold.
Log into your account (multiple accounts linked)
- Log in to My WM.
- In your My WM dashboard navigate to "My Services" and select Adjust Service.
- Select the correct service address. Select Pause Service and complete the steps to pause your WM services.
If you’re unable to pause service online
If you’re a roll-off dumpster customer or are ineligible to pause your home or business pickup service, use the “Request Help” button below for assistance.
Information in this article may be inapplicable to customers who receive service pursuant to a WM agreement with a municipality, association or other entity, or where applicable law requires differing terms of service.
