Trash Service
Service Information
Waste Management collects trash in containers that do not exceed 50-gallon size.
Service Schedule
Unlimited trash service is provided weekly.
Container Setout Instructions
Place containers at the curb by 7 a.m. on collection day and remove same day. Keep containers at least 4 feet away from parked cars, mailboxes, and other obstacles that may prevent Waste Management from picking them up.

Service Instructions & Limitations
Within reason, there is no limit for properly placed household trash. Carpet must be cut and tied with twine (max 18”x4’ and 50lb.)
Acceptable and Non-Acceptable Materials
Acceptable items include household trash like chip bags, paper towels, plastic bags, and textiles (donate if lightly used). Non-acceptable items include large construction/demolition waste, auto parts, tires, household hazardous waste (paint, oil, household cleaners), or medical waste.

Recycling
Service Information
Waste Management provides unlimited curbside recycle service. The city provides one 18-gal recycle bin and containers under 32gal are also acceptable.

Acceptable and Non-Acceptable Materials
Break down or cut up cardboard boxes to keep from getting stuck in container. Don't place plastic bags or liners in recycling container. Instead, many local grocery stores offer recycling drop-off programs. Visit https://recycleoftenrecycleright.com/resources/ for more information.

Yard waste must be placed in unlimited 32 gal. personal cans or bags (max 50lb each), and branches must be bundled/tied and not exceed 4’x18”x50lb.
Acceptable and Non-Acceptable Materials
Acceptable items include grass clippings, leaves, tree branches (broken into a manageable length) and brush. Non-acceptable items include logs/firewood, railroad ties, landscape timbers, any type of treated wood or construction/remodeling debris, dirt, stone, concrete, and rock.

Bulky Collection
Service Guidelines
Waste Management provides collection of up to 3 large items per week at no charge on your usual service day, provided one person can handle each item and the items can fit in the truck.
Schedule a Bulky Item Pickup
Items NOT on your service day are billable, must be scheduled 24hr ahead, & cancelled within 24hrs to avoid charges. . Please complete the Bulky Request Form
Acceptable and Non-Acceptable Bulky Item Materials
Acceptable items: furniture, appliances, mattress/box spring, 2 off of rim tires/mo/household (max 10/yr), 2 TVs/wk, hot water heaters, Toilets, E-Waste if inside trash container. Non-acceptable items: batteries, paints, oils, chemicals, rocks, sand, gravel, dirt, logs, hazardous or medical waste.
Special Programs & Services
White Goods
Freon items are serviced at no charge on Thursdays only on a separate truck.
Construction & Demolition Debris
Service for construction debris is fee based depending on time involved to load the truck(s). Please call Waste Management at (800) 964-8988 to schedule pick up.
