WM provides an essential service to our customers and the community, and we remain focused on prioritizing essential collection and disposal services.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will update this webpage as new information becomes available. Please check back often.

Due to the impact of COVID-19 social distancing requirements, the number of people sheltering at home and increased volumes of residential materials:

 

Effective for all homes and all cities/counties1

Beginning the week of 05/11/2020, the following curbside services will resume. Collection will follow regular schedules and guidelines; this includes adhering to the volume limits of your community:

  • Bulk collection (e.g., furniture, carpet, mattresses, appliances)

Effective for the City of Omaha2

The following limits will remain in effect:

  • Yard waste collection (e.g., grass clipping, brush, or tree limbs) is limited to 4 cans/sacks per household.

 

Facility Hours of Operation

Information and details regarding temporary schedule changes and/or closures at Landfills and Transfer Stations due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements are listed at the WMSolutions website pages.

Unless your service is listed in service suspension or delays listed above, please follow our standard service guidelines, ensure your containers are available on your regular collection day and continue to recycle right.
