About North Manatee Recycling
The North Manatee Recycling & Disposal Facility serves residential, municipal, industrial and commercial customers in Manatee County and surrounding communities. The facility is permitted by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) to operate a Class III landfill. It is permitted to accept only non-hazardous waste to include: construction and demolition debris, yard waste, shredded tires, and other permitted wastes. The facility trains its employees to identify nonconforming wastes. These wastes are separated and collected for proper offsite disposal. Located on company-owned property, the landfill currently has a 125-acre “footprint” where waste will be deposited. The site has an independent network of groundwater monitoring well probes.
