City of Hayward Service Holidays

City of Hayward Trash, Recycling and Organics service holidays are:

• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Day

If the holiday lands on a weekday, service days will be delayed one day for the rest of the week. If a holiday lands on a weekend, there is no change in service days for that week.
