Waste Management provides wheeled carts for collection of your trash, recyclables, and green waste.
Cart Service Reminders:
- Place all waste in the appropriate container and keep the lids closed to prevent litter.
- Trash, recyclables and greenwaste outside of the carts will not be collected.
- Place your carts at the curb by 6:00 am on your collection day.
- Roll carts into the street and place them against the curb, handles facing your home.
- Place carts at least two feet apart from other carts and objects.

Residential services are billed by Waste Management quarterly in advance. For your convenience you may pay your invoice online at www.wm.com or you can pay over the phone for a nominal fee. Unpaid and delinquent charges for waste collection services will be placed on resident’s property taxes annually, including penalties and interest.
Bulky Goods & Extra Greenwaste Collection
Residents with curbside cart service may request two times in a calendar year, the free pick up of household bulky items. Additional bulky item collections are available at a nominal cost. To schedule a bulky item pick up, please contact Waste Management at (800) 423-9986 at least 24 hours in advance of your regular collection day.
Christmas Tree Recycling
We will collect and recycle Christmas trees for the first two weeks following Christmas on your regular collection day. Trees longer than six feet must be cut in half. Please remove all decorations, including tinsel, lights, ornaments, and tree stands. Flocked trees will be collected but cannot be recycled.
Electronic Waste & Universal Waste
Residents may request the collection of computers (terminals/monitors, stereo systems (home or automotive), televisions sets, DVD/VCR players, ell phones, and other electronic devices. A maximum of three items per year will be collected for free. A nominal fee will be charged to collect over three e-waste items. Contact Waste Man¬agement at least 24 hours in advance of your regular collection day to schedule your items for pick up.
Disposal of Used Motor Oil
To schedule a free pickup of residentially generated used motor oil, please contact Waste Management at (800) 423-9986 at least 24 hours in advance of you regular collection day.
Household Hazardous Waste
Household hazardous waste cannot be collected by Waste Management. Please call the Riverside County Waste Management Department at (800) 304-2226 or (951) 486-3200, or you can visit them on the web atwww.rivcowm.org/hhw/hhw_schedule.html. Household hazardous waste includes: used oil filters, paint, antifreeze, batteries, propane tanks, pesticides, household cleaners, pool chemicals, sharps/needles, and fluorescent bulbs.
Recycle Rewards Program
Residents will now be rewarded for recycling with Waste Management. Each time you place your recycling cart at the curb for service, you will receive points. Waste Management has partnered with Recyclebank to manage our rewards program.
