Trash, Recycling & Yard Waste Pickup
Harris Co Mud 468 has partnered with WM to provide residential waste service that sets the standard for sustainable trash disposal and recycling.
There is no service scheduled on the listed holidays. If a holiday falls on pickup day, materials will be picked up the next regularly scheduled pickup day following the observed holiday. Check for holidays that may affect your service.

Service Instructions & Limitations
Don’t overfill your cart – the lid must close tightly. Trucks will NOT service additional recyclable items outside the cart.
Report a Missed Pickup
If containers were curbside by the specified time and were not emptied, report a missed pickup by contacting Waste Management at 800-800-5804.
Acceptable and Non-Acceptable Materials
Break down cardboard boxes to keep them from getting stuck in your container. Don’t place plastic bags or liners in recycling container. Instead, many local grocery stores offer recycling drop-off programs. Visit https://www.wm.com/us/en/recycle-right for more information on recycling.

Container Setout Instructions
Place trash cart 4 feet from any obstructions such as vehicles, mailboxes or trees and within 1 foot of the curb. Space regular trash cart, recycle cart and bulk items 2-3 feet apart.

Waste Management provides one 96 Gallon Cart.
What Belongs in Your Container
Recycle clean and dry bottles, cans, cups, tubs, paper, and cardboard. Break down cardboard boxes to keep them from getting stuck in your container.
