Trash, Recycling & Yard Waste Pickup
Montgomery Co Mud 119 has partnered with WM to provide residential waste service that sets the standard for sustainable trash disposal and recycling.
There is no service on the listed holidays. If a holiday falls on pickup day, materials will be picked up next regularly scheduled pickup day following the observed holiday. Check for holidays that may affect your service.

Service Instructions & Limitations
Don’t overfill your cart – the lid must close tightly. No overflow allowed, Materials outside of cart will not be collected
Report a Missed Pickup
If containers were curbside by the specified time and were not emptied, report a missed pickup by contacting Waste Management at 800-800-5804
Acceptable and Non-Acceptable Materials
Break down cardboard boxes to keep them from getting stuck in your container. Don’t place plastic bags or liners in recycling container. Instead, many local grocery stores offer recycling drop-off programs. Visit https://www.wm.com/us/en/recycle-right for more information on recycling.

Container Setout Instructions
Place cart within 3 feet of the curb, swale or paved surface of a roadway with opening toward the street. Carts should be at least 4 feet from each other to ensure proper collection. Recycling must be placed outside by 7 a.m. on your pickup day.

WM provides one 96 Gallon Cart.
What Belongs in Your Container
Recycle clean and dry bottles, cans, cups, tubs, paper, and cardboard. Break down cardboard boxes to keep them from getting stuck in your container.
