Eco-Vista Landfill was purchased by WM in 2000. The property was first permitted for landfill activities in 1979. The 609-acre property includes a 147-acre Class I Municipal Solid Waste Landfill and a 60-acre Class 4 Construction and Demolition Debris (C&D) Landfill, Composting Area, Recycling Drop-off Station, Landfill Gas-to-Energy Facility and a Certified Wildlife Habitat area.
Eco-Vista, LLC provides for the essential safe and convenient disposal of Class 1 and Class 4 material for communities, businesses and industries serving Northwest Arkansas and surrounding areas. Hazardous materials are not accepted at the landfill.
Cover Your Load
WM and The Boston Mountain Solid Waste Management District require that vehicles visiting for disposal be equipped to prevent loose materials from escaping. Landfill customers will be charged a fee if trailers or trucks are not securely tarped.
Truck Route
Per city ordinance, landfill traffic is not allowed to use Barrington Road, Harmon Road or Pinalto Road. A truck route map can be found here.
Tire Drop-Off
In conjunction with the Boston Mountain Regional Solid Waste District, Eco-Vista offers a tire drop-off location. The facility accepts passenger and truck tires up to 24.5" with or without rims. Pricing for disposal is available at the scale house.
