How do I get notified and prepare for severe weather?

When weather-related issues, natural disasters or other serious situations occur, we work hard to keep you informed of how they may affect your service. Safety is our number one concern for our customers and employees.
For updates on possible service delays, interruptions and storm recovery in your area, follow the instructions below. If you have a My WM profile, click here to view instructions on how to enroll in email or text alerts.
Log in to your account (single linked account)
- Log in to My WM.
- In the My WM dashboard, locate the bell icon at the top right of the page. If there are notifications for your area, the bell icon will display a red dot.
- Click on the bell icon to view any weather delays.
Log in to your account (multiple accounts linked)
- Log in to My WM.
- Available notifications are visible in the top right corner of the My WM dashboard banner.
Not logged in to My WM
- From wm.com, click on Schedule & ETA near the top of the screen.
- Under "Continue As Guest", input your information and click Verify.
- If notifications are available, they will be listed under "Next Pickup".
Note: Please keep storm debris separate from your normal household trash and recycling.
Storm debris is managed by your city, county, or area and will be performed by other contractors. You can refer to www.fema.gov for detailed instructions on debris collection.
Normal household trash and recycling will be collected by WM until a warning is issued.
