The size of propane tank needed depends on the size of the house or business. WM has a variety of sizes to meet your needs including 250, 300, 500 and 1,000-gallon tanks. The most common size is a 250-gallon tank.

Propane use is dependent on the size of the house or business and the weather itself. For safety reasons, we fill propane tanks at 70%-75% during the summer and 80%-85% during the winter.

Propane tanks do not expire and do not require recertification.

As the need arises for you to heat your home or business during the colder months, propane is a safe, cost-effective fuel that is plentiful in supply. Propane also meets the clean air energy standards of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Propane heating tanks can be above or below ground. Our team will work with you to provide a recommendation based upon your specific location.

The minimum amount of propane that can be delivered is 100 gallons for on-call service.

For on-call service, if your tank runs out of gas, additional fees will apply for emergency service. We recommend signing up for full service to ensure you always have propane in your tank.
