Service Information
WM provides 35, 64, and 96-gallon carts. Green body and brown lid. Variable rates and sizes available.
35-gallon carts are the new low-volume standard size in Lodi. Residents currently subscribed to 20-gallon carts will receive a 35-gallon cart automatically in March. Rates will be gradually adjusted to reflect 35-gallon rates over three years until April 2026.
Service Schedule
Serviced 1x week. Service day depends on the neighborhood. You can view your service collection calendar by navigating to Residential Schedule Updates.
Container Setout Instructions
Place carts with wheels on the street against the curb by 6 a.m. on collection days and remove them the same day. Keep carts at least four feet from parked cars, mailboxes, and other obstacles that may prevent WM team members from picking them up.

Service Instructions & Limitations
Lodi and WM are actively monitoring carts for contamination and overages. Don’t overfill your carts — the lid must close tightly. No overflow allowed. Only place accepted waste in each cart.
Acceptable & Non-Acceptable Materials
Acceptable items include household trash like chip bags, paper towels, plastic bags and textiles (donate if lightly used).
Non-acceptable items include construction/demolition waste, auto parts, tires, household hazardous waste (paint, oil, household cleaners) and medical or electronic waste.
