If a holiday falls on a weekday, collections for the rest of the week will be pushed back a day. For a Thursday holiday, service would be on Friday, and Friday service would be Saturday. For holidays on Saturday or Sunday, there are no delays.

WM and Mid State Solid Waste & Recycling are proud to announce the approval County of San Luis Obispo for WM to become your new service provider, effective November 1, 2023.
What will my new service consist of?
Please continue to manage your trash, organics, and recycling as you normally would with Mid State Solid Waste & Recycling and the County of SLO.
Will my service day change?
WM will continue to service your home on your same collection schedule and frequency. If your schedule should change in the future, you will receive advance communication about the service change.
