New Service Information
WM is pleased to be your environmental services provider; collecting your trash, yard waste, recycling, and bulk items. Beginning in June 2025, cart deliveries will begin in three waves, as well as the reclamation of old carts if you were a prior WM subscription customer. The first wave of cart deliveries will be WM delivering a new 65 gallon blue recycling cart and reclaiming the old recycling cart for all customers in unincorporated Indian River County, Cities of Sebastian, Vero Beach and Fellsmere, Town of Orchid and Town of Indian River Shores. The second wave of cart deliveries will be WM delivering a 95 gallon yard waste cart to all residents of unincorporated Indian River County as well as the Town of Indian River Shores. The third wave of cart deliveries will be WM delivering a 95-gallon gray trash cart, while reclaiming the existing gray cart (if you were a prior WM subscription customer).
In addition to providing automated collection for trash and recycling, we will now be providing automated collection of yard waste. Our new trucks use automatic lifting arms to empty your cart, making collection efficient and safe for your community and our drivers.
Important Cart Information
A 95 gallon gray trash cart has been delivered to each residence. Your service day will be shown on the brochure on your gray trash cart. If you would like to request a smaller trash cart (65 gallon or 35 gallon) at no charge, you may submit a request by clicking hereafter January 2, 2026. If you would like a second trash cart for a fee, click here to submite a request. There is a limit of 2 trash carts per residence.
What To Do With Old Trash Carts
All old carts, (recycling and trash) will be reclaimed by our third-party vendor on the same day the new carts are delivered.
