Service Guides & Instructions
WM’s Alliance Landfill has been providing weekly waste pickup for the residents of Ransom Township for more than 30 years. Based on collection fees paid by residents of nearby communities, this negotiated, no-cost benefit is saving Ransom households at least $330 a year.
Place containers on the street at the curb no earlier than 5 p.m on Sunday. Emptied containers must be removed from the curbside within 15 hours of pickup. Keep container at least three (3) feet from parked cars, mailboxes, and other obstacles that may prevent WM team members from picking it up.
All trash should be bagged. Do not overfill your container – the lid must close tightly.
Acceptable items include standard household trash like food waste, chip bags, paper towels, plastic bags, and textiles (donate if lightly used).
Non-acceptable items include large amounts of construction waste, auto parts, tires, household hazardous waste (paint, oil, household cleaners), medical or electronic waste.
