Commercial, industrial and select residential and HOA customers formerly serviced by WB Waste Solutions, LLC in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. All impacted customers should have received notification of the acquisition in May.

Over the next few weeks and months, you may notice process enhancements as WB Waste Solutions and WM streamline operations as one company.

• The superb WB Waste Solutions operating and support staff that has managed your waste and recycling needs has now become part of the WM family of companies.

• We believe this acquisition will create a more efficient and comprehensive solid waste and recycling collection, processing and disposal infrastructure, and thus will allow us to expand and improve upon the services we can offer to customers like you throughout Maryland, DC and Virginia.

We are committed to maintaining your current pricing and billing cycles to provide you with stability and peace of mind. Rest assured; our goal is to keep any potential future rate adjustments to a minimum.

You now have access to the many self-service options we provide to help you manage your account—including My WM and the WM mobile app—so you can easily view billing dates, set up automatic payments, view pick-up schedules and much more.

WM plans to service your home/business on the same schedule with the same frequency. If we need to adjust your collection day for efficiency or safety reasons, we will notify you in advance. Collection may be one-day delayed following a major holiday. Be sure to indicate your communication preferences on your My WM account, so that we can update you on any schedule delays.

The easiest way to view your current balance and a copy of your current invoice is to sign up for or log in to your My WM account. From there, you can access current and past invoices, see your current account balance and make payments. If you choose to continue receiving paper bills, an Administrative Charge to process manual payments may apply in the future.

We were not able to transition any payment details to your new account. The good news is, it’s easy to enroll in WM’s autopay program to continue to take advantage of these features. To enroll, sign up for or log in to your My WM profile on wm.com. From the dashboard, go to your billing overview and opt in to AutoPay and Paperless Billing.

Activating a My WM account is not required for service, but it will make it easier to manage all your WM services online. With a My WM account, you’ll be able to pay bills, access pickup schedules, enroll in AutoPay and Paperless Billing, and more.

WM cannot announce the acquisition until the official date. We disseminated communication as quickly as possible and through multiple channels.

We encourage all customers to add an email to their My WM account, to allow for timely service notifications.

WM is welcoming WB Waste Solutions employees to the WM family.

Please continue using your existing cart or container for disposal and collection. If your existing container is damaged and needs to be replaced, we can schedule that accordingly.

The integration of WB Waste Solutions’ operations and team members expands WM’s footprint to provide outstanding service and operational excellence to our combined customer base in DC, Maryland and Virginia.
