Once your order is placed, our team of routers will confirm what day of the week you will be serviced. You will receive an email confirmation of the service day as well as service instructions. One of our account success reps will follow up to confirm items were delivered and the container was placed in the correct location.

WM is one of the most reliable providers in the industry with a reliability of over 99%. You can utilize the ETA tool, in the My WM app, which gives you a 3-hour window showing when your container will be serviced.

Services can be managed by logging in to My WM or using the My WM app. With a My WM online profile, you can manage accounts and billing, request extra pickups, view your service schedule and more. If you find that you are producing more or less waste than you anticipated, you can adjust your service frequency online as well.

The initial contract is 1 year. 

Prior to finalizing your order, you will see a field to enter placement and delivery instructions. Those instructions will then be provided to your driver, who will accommodate the requests as long as they can be completed safely.

Due to safety regulations, we are unable to place your container in certain locations. If there is a tight alley or overhead wires, you may require cart service. Each community is unique so please make sure to check if you have any local policies regarding placement restrictions. 

Step 1: Materials come into our MRFs and then pass through a vast array of efficient sorting mechanisms that reduce the chances of contaminants making it through.

Step 2: Advanced optical sorters and digital technology quickly identify and sort items, minimizing the labor and time necessary to remove contaminated materials.

Step 3: Our recycling facilities of the future are designed to produce clean feedstock for manufacturers to use to make new products and packaging that we use in our everyday lives.

The charges you see online will reflect what you will pay each month. Additional charges may apply if additional services are incurred. These include, but are not limited to extra pickups, seasonal hold charges, or recycling contamination charges.

If you have an upcoming vacation or an extended trip lasting a minimum of 30 days (maximum of 9 months), you may have the option to pause your service while not in use. You can log in to your My WM account and request to pause services for the duration of your trip.

Billing information can be accessed through your My WM account. If you are enrolled in both AutoPay and Paperless Billing the $8.50 Administration Charge will be waived.

If there are changes to your service schedule due to a holiday, we will notify you in advance or you can view your updated holiday schedule by logging in to your My WM profile.

When weather-related issues, natural disasters or other serious situations occur, we work hard to keep you informed of how they may affect your service. Safety is our number one concern for our customers and for our employees.

Price increases are subject to a customer's applicable service terms. Increases to service rates may be based on any number of factors, including to cover increases to both internal and third-party disposal, processing and/or transportation costs or increased costs due to uncontrollable circumstances.

Notifications for rate increases are typically provided the month of, or the month prior to, the increase and can be found in the "important messages" section on your invoice.
