We believe in the concept of using less, reusing more, and converting the materials we reclaim into new resources or energy. Our recycling program is one example of how that concept is becoming a reality.

Pickup will be every OTHER week. Recycling must be placed in the container -- with the GREEN lid -- at the curb. (NOTE: If you would prefer to use your 95-gallon container for recycling, call Waste Management to “flip your lids.”)

Due to the automation of the recycling truck, please keep recycling toters at least three feet from other toters, mailboxes and parked cars. The recycling carts are the property of the City of Hickory Hills.

The City of Hickory Hills will have a electronic waste drop off container behind City Hall at 8652 W. 95th St. The drop off hours are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 9am - 3 pm.
