How We Pay

WM is committed to sustainability and reducing the use of paper in as many processes as possible. As part of our commitment, WM offers 2 paperless options for submitting invoices for payment:

Coupa Electronic Invoicing
Once connected to WM through Coupa, all invoices must be submitted through Coupa. There is no option to email/fax/mail invoices in for processing. Coupa offers 3 options for electronic invoicing including:

• cXML
• The Coupa Supplier Portal
• The invoicing link from your purchase order email

Online Capture Center
If you are not transacting with WM through Coupa, you are required to email invoices to the Online Capture Center at [email protected]. The instructions on how to submit invoices can be found in our FAQ section.

Invoices that do not meet WM’s requirements or are not submitted correctly may not be processed for payment.

1. The document must be an invoice. WM does not pay from statements, delivery documents, pro forma invoices, etc.
2. Company name/Remit to name
3. Remittance address
4. Invoice number
5. Invoice date
6. A clearly labeled 8-digit Purchase Order number OR a WM contact email address

7. Each PO requires a separate invoice.
8. A valid WM ship to/bill to address
9. Total amount due
10. Currency
11. Tax, freight, etc. (clearly labeled towards the bottom of the invoice)

WM uses Coupa for electronic ordering and invoicing. Orders will be placed with approved suppliers in accordance with WM Standard Terms and Conditions or the terms of a Master Agreement, whichever is applicable.

WM and Coupa support the following electronic transaction options:

1. B2B Full Automation through cXML
   • E-Catalogs
   • cXML invoicing
2. Coupa Supplier Portal (CSP)
   • Receive purchase orders
   • Submit invoices
   • Submit supplier profile changes
3. Supplier Actionable Notification (SAN)
   • Interactive email link received with purchase order

Before you can begin taking advantage of the many great features offered in Coupa, you must first receive an invitation to connect from WM.

If you have a Coupa Supplier Portal account and are connected with WM, you can see the status of your invoice in your CSP account.

WM also provides an invoice portal to see the status of your invoice. The Invoice Portal does not require a log in or account however, you will need at least 2 criteria for the invoice (for example: invoice date and invoice number) to match to an invoice and see the status.
