Front load containers, bins and dumpsters are most often used for non-residential, business or commercial waste collection. You can arrange for one or more 2-, 4-, 6- or 8-cubic-yard containers. There is little difference between a front-load dumpster, bin or container and a rear-loading one. They will still have the same capacity for waste and refuse. The way the garbage truck picks up the dumpster is the key difference. With a front-loading dumpster, there is a metal sleeve on each end where the truck fork inserts and the container is lifted and emptied over the top of the truck cab. The rear-loading container is not as prominent and empties into the garbage truck differently.

Slanted-top bins are better suited for very cold environments. Melting snow and ice will drain off the slanted-tops. Both tops are made of hard core plastic. The base of the bins (or containers) are made of steel.
