WM’s digital bill payment system is powered by Paymentus, a best-in-class electronic payment solution. This solution provides our customers a more flexible and comprehensive online bill-management experience.

Customers have several convenient payment methods: – Electronic direct debit from a bank account, like the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network in the U.S. or Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) in Canada – Credit or debit cards – Digital wallet services: Venmo, Apple Pay and Google Pay.	Paymentus charges a $1.99 convenience fee per transaction for residential service and a $9.99 convenience fee for non-residential service, as applicable, for payments made online or by phone using credit card, debit card and digital wallet methods. You'll get an alert for the fee when you pay online or by phone.	One-time or automatic payments made by direct debit from a bank account do not incur a Paymentus convenience fee. If you currently pay by credit or debit card and want to avoid the Paymentus convenience fee, log in to My WM to update your payment method to direct debit from a bank account.

Payment Methods Available for AutoPay

If you choose to enroll in AutoPay, you can select digital wallet services such as Venmo, Apple Pay and Google Pay in addition to the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network in the U.S. or Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) in Canada or credit or debit cards. Please note that the Paymentus convenience fee will apply for all AutoPay methods except direct debit from a bank account. Visit wm.com/billhelp to learn more about AutoPay.

Convenience Fees May Apply

Payments made online or by phone by direct debit from a bank account are not subject to a convenience fee, but Paymentus, the payment system provider, charges a convenience fee for payments made by credit or debit card and digital wallet services such as Venmo, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

The convenience fee is a flat charge of $1.99 per payment for residential service customers and $9.99 per payment for non-residential service customers. The convenience fee is subject to change. By contract or under state or provincial law restrictions, some customers may pay a nonstandard convenience fee or be exempt from paying any convenience fee.
